Tol and smol friends. I didn't know what to make of Jasper coming in, simply because my knowledge of her started and ended with the Garnet's fight against her. I figured, villain, probably going to kill people, leggo.

I love that you threw me for that loop. Knowing what I did, based off of her character at the start, I didn't think she and Varric would get along. It was really cool seeing them bond and develop a friendship. It's also been a delight bouncing stuff off of you, Nin! You're an awesome writer, rper and person!

I'm glad we got sudden, unexpected bonding! Jasper definitely went through a lot in the game, most of it something I wasn't expecting at all.

Surprising people is always fun, especially with obvious villains.

Jasper was a joy, and watching her make friends with people was really awesome. I definitely regret not threading with her more, I bet these two would have gotten along eventually.

Also I absolutely expected Jasper to be a culprit at some point, because I'm canon-familiar for Steven Universe and yeah. But I'm glad she wasn't, because it means we got to see more of her than 'cartoon villain'.

To be honest, I was expecting her to get rolled, and for her to get rolled early on. But having her continuously survive somehow did give her a lot of time to develop and come to the same sort of conclusion Rose did, although Jasper is still a jerk at the end of the day.

It was nice, especially since the last villain I played in trustfell went out so early!

NIN, JASPER WAS SO GODDAMN GOOD!! I do not know much about SU but even going in, I knew Jasper only as that gem Garnet musically beat the crap out of and then proceeded to fuse with Lapis and fuckoff for a while. Which in hindsight is kind of sad. Because you developed her in such a way that was absolutely awesome, tbh.

Jasper became her own person through this entire experience, gained a feeling and friends and her own purpose for living and I won't lie, that is the best goddamn thing? Like, you go big buff rock lady. It may have taken losing several friends but you came out stronger and get to go home with your bff and his drag-along friend!! Plus, threading off of her was fun with Lusamine too! They had a surprising amount of anger to share and basically wanted to punch the Wordsmith in the dick for their people, and that was A+

Nin, I loved seeing your Jasper grow. She made such huge progress, and that was wonderful to see. She was great from start to finish.

I did not see half of the stuff you were able to do with Jasper coming and it was great. I'm glad we were in the survivor pool together and that we could have them do little bits of bonding all over the place? I love that Elda got to teach her Rummy and some other card game type things that's hilarious?

It really was fun.

I hope that we get to do more in future from here because you played a really inspired turn for a character I knew jack all about because I'm that guy who still hasn't seen Steven Universe.

You should absolutely give it a chance, if you can, because it's one of the best kid's shows out there! If it's not charmed the hell out of you by the first few episodes, it'll probably not be your cuppa, but hey! At least we got some great CR out of it.
